Davidson Family | Northern VA family photographer

This precious family was a last minute session the weekend of Thanksgiving.  I was contacted by the mom the week before asking if I could squeeze in a session for them.  I almost said “no” b/c frankly, I really am overworked by that time of Fall and just can’t deliver anything before Christmas when I shoot that late, but their situation was different.  The dad is headed overseas for work in February for a few months and they just wanted to get a family session in before he leaves.  They didn’t need any gifts for the holidays, just wanted to get a session in before he leaves, and naturally, before it got any colder.  So my heart dropped and I accepted.  Mom is working full time, working on her MBA and has 2 kids (as you’ll see here!).  I do NOT know how she does it.  In any event, we had a very brisk day — very.  The winds blew hard and everyones’ noses were red so we kept moving to keep warm.  The kids aunt was visiting and was a perfect assistant for me! I love when that works out for me!

Alan - Julia – I’m the Davidson dad and wanted to let you know how impressed I am with how the photos turned out. The photos really mean a lot to me and capture just how much I cherish my wife and kids. These are going to be a source of inspiration and help get me through my time overseas away from my family. Thanks again and we look forward to working with you again in the future.

Don Davidson - I am Alan’s uncle. I am very glad you were able to work them in. It will mean a lot to them in the future. The pictures a beautiful and are a tribute to you also. Thanks.

Beth - Julia – love this family session! The one with mom and daughter melts my heart…makes me want for my family!
