Last weekend I had 4 wonderful ladies come to my home from various high schools around the area. I decided to spend a [winter] Sunday afternoon working on my studio lighting skills and in so doing, offered free sessions to a few high school seniors (one sophomore in the group graduating a year early!) in exchange for some PR from them to their friends. The ultimate goal was to broaden my “high school senior” portfolio since starting this whole, fun endeavor last year. I was also approached by a colleague and friend last month, Kevan Palmer, a local makeup artist who is also looking to add to her [already amazing] portfolio, so she donated her services for these mini-sessions in exchange for image use of these beautiful young ladies that I photographed as well. She also donated to my Make-A-Wish Foundation session last spring so I was happy to have her on board again! Here is one of them who came to me from Centreville High School. More to follow soon…..
